Conversions of Form
is my new series of raku fired clay sculptures, vessels and wall pieces. Breaking free from traditional forms and ideas, my new work expresses my natural desire to play with clay. I want to create clay works that are spontaneous, expressive, fresh and fun, by combining wheel thrown forms with sculpted elements and abstract drawings with spontaneous color combinations. These new raku works are a conversion of my style to a new destiny. I hope that upon viewing my work you may feel connected to a piece and the mystery of its form.
